IPSY: 'BEAUTY BLAST' NOVEMBER GLAMBAG ✿REVIEW✿

Normally I wouldn't complain but I am tremendously dissapointed with the glambag. Why? Simply because it never arrives on time and what's the point of reviewing a November bag on December, right? I guess that's just the hurdles of living in Puerto Rico. Everything get's here late. So much for being US territory, right? The bag got here on 11/28/2015, that's a Saturday making it so inconvenient to go to the post office on time. (They Close early on Sats and are closed on Sundays!) Not to mention, I had a little fit with one of the customer services representatives because due to an error I got unsubscribes and the Items I was supposed to get changed... but that's a whole other story. Thankfully, everything was worth it in the end because I really liked the items I got on this month.

I'll be making this review quick and simple ~
The items I received were:

★ TreStique Mini Matte Lip Crayon in “Chile Red"– 02 oz Value $8~ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ♡

★ Tucker Ashley Perfecting Moisturizer –  1 oz Value $12.95~ ❤ ❤ ♡ ♡ ♡

November's Glam Bag Value: $61 ★

★ TreStique Mini Matte Lip Crayon in “Chile Red" : I'm not sure how I really feel about this one. It's smooth and lasting, as far as lipsticks go. I'm just a little sad I got a regular 'red' since I already own my little holy grail of a red. This one reminds me so much of the Revlon Balms. Which I believe are more accessible and affordable.

 

★ Jelly Pong Pong Liquid Gossamer : I was extremely upset when I saw I was receiving this on my bag this month BUT when I opened it to swatch it, the smell made me kinda' like it a little bit? It's not that the product is bad, it's just that I'm not to fond of highlighters. I mean, who needs to highlight their face when you already have oily skin and live on a humid island, right? If anything I want my face to be as matte as possible! I might experiment in the future with this. What surprised me the most was the price! $22 for a little tiny tube. At least, that's what their website states. 

 
★ Tucker Ashley Perfecting Moisturizer : I've had it with lotions and moisturizers! I don't get why Ipsy keeps sending them to me after I already emailed them about it. Here's the thing, I already own a purifying cream that works as a moisturizes that leaves my skin perfect and breakout free. Which makes me not fond of the idea of experimenting with other products. I want makeup, not skin products. This smells ok? but I haven't tried it yet.

★ Absolute New York Nano Liner : Finally! The gem of this bag. This eyeliner is dark enough to show on pigmented eye shadows and the thin tip is so comfortable to use. Not much to say about this other than it's water resistant. Which is what I look for on a liquid eyeliner. It's not as lasting so make sure you use a setting spray on your face when you use this liner. Other than that, it's great for everyday use.

★ Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara: This month's star item was the Smashbox Mascara. To be honest I had never used it before because I'm not that picky when it comes to mascaras. Maybe because falsies fix everything? but really, I like how dark this mascara is. It's not that voluminizing, which really disappointed me. The Manga Rock Mascara does such a great job at that! However, it dries comfortably and not like you have dried up paint on your lashes.

Overall I am indeed impressed by the value of this bag & the fact that the pouch's a Galaxy! ♡
Even if it had a few dissapointing items Just because I think there were other better options. I might trade a few with my Ipsy friends!
