Polish Me Silly ✿REVIEW✿

Hello kittens! ♡ 
I'm going to do a little bit of a flash back friday here but... Do any of you happen to remember the Disney movie Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (1999)? And if so! Do any of you remember that moment when she takes nail polish out of her backpack to paint that little backup disk they made to switch with the other one that had all the information of the base? If so, Remember how it was such a cute holographic color?! ♡ ♡ ♡ 
Today I'm going to share with all of you this unique nail lacquer brand I was recently introduced to called PolishMeSilly on Etsy. This is a little family store run by mother/daughter best friends. The colors on all the nail polishes are amazing and I'm not just saying it. They remind me so much of the color Zenon used in the movie to paint that disk! It's really hard for me to find really nice multi-colored nail polishes that last and look nice. (this usually leads me to always getting the cheap Bettina ones) So seeing the huge gamma of colors this store had really won me over.

Quick note: I didn't know the English word for "Tornasol" was Litmus. I was expecting something close to "Holographic" or even "Translucent"? but apparently I was expecting wrong. So I will simply refer to these colors a the Etsy store states which are Multi-Chrome Polishes.  

These polishes come in two sizes. Fulls size - 15 ml fl oz & Mini size - 9 ml fl oz .
The two polishes I will be reviewing today are the mini ones simply because I initially  got these to try them out. I also didn't want to spend a whole lot on nail polishes but I somewhat regret not getting the full sized ones now that they are here. Not to mention, I didn't like the little sticker the small bottles had since I kind of lost one to the cats the moment I got it... yeah.

★ Chasing Rainbows★

Holographic Polish. $6.50 USD. This color looks like a regular silver polish until the sun hits your nails! Now, I want to paint my everything's with this! I applied two coats on the previous photo and I sort of regret to fixing my nails with a buffer a little bit, so the surface would be as smooth as it could be. Still I think it has great coverage, a little bit goes a long way.  I feel like this photo doesn't do it great justice because you can't appreciate the little rainbow (Greens, oranges, etc.) that forms in your nails as you move them. This polish is true to it's holographic claims.

 

★ Thruth or Dare ★

Multichrome Polish. $7.50 USD. This one is my favorite out of the two. Simply because I wasn't expecting it to be this awesome. It cascades through a warm amber, red. orange, bronze and green color shift. I want to never take it off. I wore it for a week and let me tell you, I'm the clumsiest girl when it comes to my nails and this polish only chipped on the edges. It changes colors and not just in the sunlight but whenever the lights hits it, weather it's florescent or not. After seing how great this one looks, I really want to try out all the other Multicrome polishes.
