Hello, kittens!
Sorry for the hella late post, this time around it had nothing to do with the bag arriving late, I swear! My computer was just terminally ill for the past two weeks until I found a tech that was finally able to revive her, needless to say, I lost all my files... so!
Here it is, my review for December's hideous glam bag. It's not red, it's not actually pink. It's, Magenta? I'm actually happy with the contents. Maybe reviewing all the received products on their page is finally paying off, maybe? It's just the bag itself. I really, can't fake liking it...

The bag contained: (Approx. value)
★ MintPear: Beauty Blending Sponge - $ 20
★ NYX Professional Makeup: Prismatic Shadow (Jaded) - $6
★ Tarte cosmetics: deluxe maracuja oil - $25
★ City Color Cosmetics: Be Matte Blush in Fresh Melon, Blackberry, and Guava - $5.99
★ Privai: Aqua Gel Masque - $10

Total Glam bag Value: $66.99

First off, I got this beauty blender! Which I was very happy because, funny story, I almost burned my house down the other day because these little things are flammable so be careful! Do not place them anywhere near a hair iron... Anyways! I normally use brushes, or even my fingers, to apply foundation but recently I decided to give in and start using beauty blenders. It's still difficult because I honestly believe they suck most of the product making it hard to get full coverage, buuuuut I do admit that it's really good for blending cream contour.

Maracuja oil is really good for almost everything. I feel like it's the underappreciated younger brother of coconut oil. I honestly had no idea Tarte had their own, so I was very curious as to what other benefits this had other than just buying this oil elsewhere? I checked the ingredients and they stated: passiflora edulis seed oil, tocopherol. So I guess they just added the extra vitamin E, for extra healthy skin? I did see that it's retailed for $45 on their website, so I don't know... I'm pretty sure you could just make your own cheaper version. Needless to day, I don't think I'll purchase it IRL however I have been using this almost every day on my fine lines, and on the tips of my hair.

This was my favorite thing out of the entire bag. Mainly because Guava looks so nice on my skin. Like, really! I searched on their website for this item but they don't have it, so I'm guessing this was an Ipsy exclusive and you can only get them in separates? Which is okay by me. It's smooth, pigmented, and blendable. Also, it's matte. Obviously, as the product states. Which is really hard to get in a blush nowadays since everything tends to have som sort of shimmer in it.

This eyeshadow is very rich in color however I'm so unimpressed by the actual shade. I feel like I already have 3 other shadows that are exact dupes of this received on previous Ipsy bags. I should probably make a review about in the near future? Anyways, It's really smooth and blendable. I guess I just wish I'd received a different shade.

Finally, I got this gel masque that I've also been using for the past week. Sadly, it has too little product to ever know if it works or not. I have noticed tighter skin but I'm not sure if it's placebo talk or not. Maybe if it had a little bit more, maybe a month's worth?

Ipsy: carpe p.m. December 2016 ✿REVIEW✿

January 9, 2017

✿✿✿
Hello, kittens! ♡
I'm super excited with this one; Limecrime released their limited edition Velve-tins collection on Blackfriday & my insides died with excitement. Their Instagram was filled with little sneakpeaks and the packaging was the true selling point, at least for me! They're all so gorgeous. I got the rose tin one, which was actually a gift from my boyfriend. (Thank you for always spoiling me! ♡ ) And seriously tho, no regrets!

The set contains 3 mini velvetines. Which actually are way smaller than I anticipated, like reaaaly small, in Jingle (a holiday red metallic), Sasha (toasted rose matte) and Red Rose (ruby red matte).

Right off the bat I could tell Red Rose was a more muted version of Beet It. If you're not sure which one this is you can also see swatches here: LIMECRIME: VENUSII PALETTE & VELVETINES COLLECTION ✿REVIEW✿. This one didn't really impress me since I really had high expectations on this one. It's beautiful, don't get me wrong and if you don't own Beet It you won't be as biased as me. I just really prefer Beet It over this one. Also, I don't know why it reminds me of True Love, from yet another collection, in photos or at least the ones I take! Bright side, this red wont make your teeth look yellow.

Sasha took the cake for me, why? I seriously had zero expectations on it. Maybe because I haven't been excited with Limecrime's latests releases. To be honest I'm not really into paying $20 for a nude lip, if you know what I'm saying? but let me tell you, Sasha looks so gorgeous. I think I may be having a change of heart...

Finally, Jingle, where do I even start? It's amazing and I absolutely adored this one. Photos don't do justice how amazing this color looks. I feel like I was running away from Limecrime's metallic line for the longest because they seemed a bit too, shiny? But no, this one at least, is foil like, soft and lasting.

The thing with Limecrime is that they really last forever on me. I get really sad whenever my friends get defective formulas on their order and I urge them to complain, forever, until they get the right one because I honestly believe they're the best thing. It's not too shocking in real life either. I wore this for a night out the other week and I swear it lasted until 6am. Talk about lasting, right?

Again, photos don't do justice and they always look so different depending on the filters, obviously! If you go over my Instagram you'll notice that the same shade looks different in 3 different photos. Crazy.
Also, since the bottles are so small I feel myself getting the full-size version of these. I seriously hope they release Jingle as a single because I seriously loved it.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, don't forget to comment below with your thoughts!
Much love,

Limecrime: Red VELVE-TIN ✿REVIEW✿

December 17, 2016

Hello kittens! ♡
November's glam bag was a cute star filled bag. At first, I wasn't that impressed with the pattern but once I had the bag in my hands things changed, slightly, since these bags have been upgrading their quality game. HOWEVER, I ended up getting my bag the first week of December. I've already complained so many times with customer service about this but I guess they don't really care. C'mon, Puerto Rico isn't that far away from California!

The bag contained: (Aprox. value)
★ Luxie Beauty: Luxie Rose Gold Small Duo Fiber Brush 524T - $18
★ pūr~lisse: Blue Lotus Balancing Moisturizer - $10
★ Adesse New York: Brightening Base Coat - $18
★ Too Faced: Better Than Sex Mascara - $12
★ Elizabeth Mott: Color is Bae Lip Lacquer in Moxie Mauve - $4.70

Total Glam bag Value: $62.70

★ Yet another mascara! Yup. Those were my first thoughts upon opening my bag. I mean, If you guys are active here you know all about my endless complaints over mascaras in general. Guess what happened this time? Too faced totally slapped me in the eyes. This mascara is actually VERY NICE. I finally understand what all the hype has been over this mascara. The wand actually brushes your lashes individually giving them a soft even dark look, definitely no spider leg lashes here!  Actually, I feel like I might purchase this full sized once it runs out.

★ This lip lacquer arrived in the color Moxie Mauve. Which is a really nice pinkish color. At first I thought it was some kind of gloss, but no. It dries matte and had quite the lasting power, so more bonus points for this brand!  It's almost as good as the KDV ones I own.

★ One good thing about Ipsy is that they always manage to send me some kind of nail polish. Which I love since I'm such a nail polish junkie. I think they finally realized this and decided to send me some nail care this time around, maybe? This is a base coat that supposedly brightens the nail? Well, I just used it and I don't really see the brightening effect, not that I really matter since I ended up using another nail polish over it. Still, It's nice to get these types of things, so I ain't complaining.
★ I don't know what this brush is for guys! Ipsy says: "Friends with everyone. Plays well with powders, creams and liquids." and I even saw their lil' video but I just find this brush to be so lightweight? I used it once and ended up grabbing my usual powder brush because I just wasn't having it. I mean, It's not terribly useless... If you're into very faint makeup maybe you'll like this? Maybe it's just me.

★ Pūr~lisse is a brand I got to know thanks to Ipsy and now I have a small bag filled with these products since Ipsy won't stop sending them my way. I'm not complaining tho, It's just that I still don't know if they're good or not. I do use them regularly since they're so tiny and accessible (since my makeup bag's usually a mess). I've gotten a toner, moisturizer, even anti eye wrinkle creams... and my face looks the same? My face feels slightly better with this one however but It could also be that the weather here in PR has been acting up and my usual oily face is drying up.  Who knows? One day I'll try to make a thorough review on these since I feel I might be overlooking how good they are? Since they're: "...authentic time-tested Asian beauty wisdom with advanced French cosmeceuticals." and we all know how good Korean skin care is!

IPSY: ROCKSTARLET NOVEMBER 2016 ✿REVIEW✿

December 12, 2016

✿ ✿ ✿

Hello kittens!
It's the day you've all been waiting for, The Pusheen Fall box review! I've been waiting for months now and I just can't believe it's finally here. The box's huge, adorable and omg it's so incredibly cute! Now, I told myself to refrain myself from using the word 'cute'  too much for this post, but guys, I know this is going to be really hard because look at how cute everything is!

Now, what exactly is the Pusheen box for those curious ones? It's a seasonal subscription box, which means you'll only get 4 boxes a year. You can learn more about this from their website: Pusheen Box. The quarterly plan's a totally of $49.95 and it gets processed the 15th of the first month of the next shipping cycle.

I'm really excited to show you all the goodies inside, so let's take a peak!

Right off the bat, I died a little on the inside when I saw the box itself was actually bat-Pusheen and purple! Also, it has the cutest little paws on the bottom side. My first box and I get to have the special edition box? Yes. Well, this lil' hoarder isn't throwing this box away, ever.  (Previous boxes have been Gray, like Pusheen!) When you open the box you receive a small postcard with a list of the items you're getting and Pusheen box's social networks on the back, or front?

The first thing, I'll be showing you cuties is this Pusheen notebook & pen. It's a holographic cover so the leaves look like they're moving when you open and close the notebook. Actually, it's a pretty decent notebook overall that I find myself using for college or misc. The lines inside aren't too thick. Which in case you didn't know, I'm very picky with my notebooks, I like really thin writing lines. Also, I'm a sucker for themed pens so this was a quick win for me.

I'm upset I got this box a few weeks after Halloween because this was the perfect quick and easy costume! The next thing's Pusheen's cat ears and tail. The clips are surprisingly strong, so I actually will find myself using these as normal hairclips when I'm at home. Which is no surprise there since I'm never embarrassed when it comes to wearing cat ears in general. The sweater's a size M but it definitely feels like a Large. Which I don't mind since I'm all about that cozy sweater life, when it's not too warm outside... which is usually always... ahem, anyways! It's the print super adorable?

Now, IT'S VYNYL PUSHEEN THE BAT THE CUTEST THING EVER?! ❤ ❤ ❤  This has to be my favorite item out of everything. Actually, I'm lying. The mug and sweater ar quick runner ups but anyways. This totally useless item will be sure to spark a bit of happiness to your life. Place it on your desk, shelf, on top of your printer, tv. I don't know? Put it someplace where it can showcase it's cuteness. Bat caaaaaaat !

I'm a little bit upset with this mug because it arrived a bit, beaten up? I don't know why. I already contacted customer service to see what they can do. So, I'm just waiting for their reply. I'm not sure if you can notice in the photo, I did my best to make it look pretty but Pusheen's face looks all weird and sort of, scratched? Sighs, but putting that aside; It's a mug. It's a cat mug. It's a Pusheen mug. Like seriously? I don't think I need to explain anything else. Perfect for tea or anything really!

Another cool thing I got inside the box where these three coasters, which I already know I'll need to protect them from my cats because they're going to want to destroy them. Don't ask, my cats are just evil like that. I think I'll be using these very often from now on because most of my mugs aren't really sets that come with plates so I tend to spill them since I place them on my bed, on top of my notebooks, you know, places that are totally stable or meant for mugs, right?

Finally, I got Sticky notes that I'll probably never use because I don't want to destroy it's cuteness! I mean, even if I did decide on using them, I'd probably just stick them everywhere around my house as cat decor... So, let's forget about that for a moment... Followed by a Pumpkin air freshener that I probably won't ever open either so it never stops smelling nice! Props for it being really cute too!

I hope this was aesthetically appealing to you cuties, since, Pusheen is the cutest thing ever! I definitely can't wait for the Winter box now since I bet it's going to be filled with lovely Christmass themed goodies. I tell you these subscription boxes will be the end of me... but aren't they worth it, right? ❤

Have a lovely weekend,
love! ~RariMoon

Pusheen Box Fall 2016 ✿Review✿

November 11, 2016

✿ ✿ ✿

Hello kittens!
I'm so happy, after waiting for forever (basically an entire year) Sugarpill relaunched their first liquid lipstick and I managed to get my hands on TrinketLet me tell you, this color's a total dream come true! ~ This is their revamped version of their original released that was in collaboration with Beibadgirl. However this time around, they changed their packaging, bottle and reformulated their product. Also, it smells so good! Orange cream goodness! Yaaaassss ~

At first I thought I'd be to 'shimmery' for everyday wear but I was so wrong, It's really wearable! The shimmer isn't that 'In your face' in real life. At first, you can't see the gold sparkles but you just have to wait until the product dries off completly and then, Sparkles! That's another thing I liked, the formula's smooth and lasting. Probably one of the best formula's I've come acrossed so far. You might probably need to retouch it once if you're out drinking and living that nightlife but for a regular any day use I think you could accidentaly leave Trinket at home and not have a freak ot during the day.

However, one thing I really hate's the applicator. It has that children's makeup feel too it. Did any of you ever had kids makeup sets were the lip applicator would be a weird-like sponge that would break in one use? Well, that's how this one feels. Maybe it's because it's too fluffy? I don't know. I'm just not that fond of it but again, that's basically the only thing I hate about Trinket.

As a side note, Trinket claims to be vegan, which is another cool thing since anyone can purchase it regardless of their lifestyle, here's the ingredients: Isododecane, Cyclopentasiloxane, Kaolin, Petrolatum, Isobutylmethacrylate/Bis-Hydroxypropyl, Dimethicone Acrylate Copolymer, Synthetic Beeswax, Dimethicone, Polyester/Dimethicone/IPDI Copolymer, Polysilicone-11, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Trihydroxystearin, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Propylene Carbonate. May Contain (+/-): Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Silica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Red 30 Lake (CI 73360), Tin Oxide.

Overall,  I'm honestly so in love with this lipstick! This product goes 'Out of stock' often so if you're interested in getting your paws on Trinket have your money ready & your eyes peeled to Sugarpill's Instagram for updates.

I also have another Sugarpill review that you can check out here if you're interested: Sugarpill Burning Heart Pallete !

I hope you all have a fantastic week. I'm sorry for not being able to update as often as before, I had to limit myself to one post per week until I finish this semester! Love always,

~ RariMoon

Sugarpill: TRINKET LIQUID LIP COLOR ✿REVIEW✿

November 1, 2016

✿ ✿ ✿

Hello kittens!
I honestly feel like Ipsy is stepping up their bag game. The quality has significant improved, they're arriving on time (Sort off!) and their recent collaborations have been to die for. October's collaboration was alongside Valfre, an LA based label founded by artist Ilse Valfré.
Let's take a look at all the goodies inside!

The bag contained: (Aprox. value)
★ theBalm Cosmetics: CabanaBoy Blush - $5.60
★ NUDESTIX: Concealer Pencil in Medium 4 - $10
★ Kokie Cosmetics: Kokie Nail Polish in Heavenly - $6
★Trust Fund Beauty: Gimme Good Face - Face Primer - $5
★ pūr~lisse: Daily Lip Nourisher with Mango and Shea Butters - $6.75

Total Glam bag Value: $33.35, probably the lowest value ag I've gotten but I'm okay with it since the bag seriously compensates!

I fell like all my Ipsy bags have one thing in common and that's nail polishes! I really like this shade. It's much lighter in real life. Putting aside how horribly I painted my nails, this formula is really nice. Usually light colors tend to be really heavy and just too tick to deal with. I had to shake this one for a while first but the application ran smoothly. The website states: "A chip off the old… nothing. Withstands everyday wear and tear." which trust me, I'm going to test if this if it's real or not. So far, day two and it hasn't chipped. Okay, you're probably thinking wow, two days, big deal? but guys, I legit chip off some weird part of my nails within 5 minutes of having them done.

This dusty rose color is really pigmented and the application runs smooth. I have personal issues whenever I receive single eyeshadows because I tend to forget about them... I'm going keep this one visible because I actually want to use this one more since it's not a hassle to blend and looks really nice as a single lid color.

Okay, their page says it's Koala-approved with a light eucalyptus scent but it seriously smells nothing like eucalyptus. It feels really sylicone'ish... Which I hate? Primer goes after moisturizer so I guess that'll help a bit? I guess I'll use this on those days I want to wear heavy makeup but I already own the two faced pure primer... so maybe I wont. Anyone wants to trade this?

This is a bit too light on me, which I don't mind because I can always correct it when I apply foundation. I love the fact that it's smooth and blends nicely maybe because it contains Shea butter and vitamin E hydrate which I think is a huge bonus since the things we usually  tend to conceal, like pimples, scars, eyeags, require hydration.

I love products like these since I think I only ever wear liquid lipsticks as most of you already know!
This prevents my lips from chipping and looking like shriveled peas. Their site states that this product, "Soften up. Jojoba oil soothes chapped lips." So do we really need anything else?  (Oh, also, I wore this over night and it helped reduce my fine lip lines! I'm not saying this product fixes this, but I did on my lips, so maybe thats's a slight bonus?)

♡ ♡ ♡
